I hate to include this in Pithy Comments, but it is so ludicrous as to be funny: Janet Napolitano, Director of US Homeland Security on TV this Sunday stated the airline security “system worked” because her department responded properly  after the attack.  That the attack was “foiled” by a bad detonator and some civilian passengers is proof, she claims, that her agency is doing everything right.
